Flash site comps

my final project for this class (and my college career! yikes!) is to build a very small 5 page flash website. I chose to do it on a cookie company I designed packagine for last year called "Lille cookies" I designed their logo, packaging and business system so why not add a website to my portfolio to complete the company? So here are my first attempt at the overall design. They still need some work but that's why I go to class!

My first Flash Movie!

Here's a link to my very first flash movie. Who knew that so much time goes into a 30 second clip! I have a new respect for animators.

Flash animtion poster

My next assignment that I had to do in Dave's class was to create a typographic animation of a 30 second clip from a movie using Flash. I chose to do the Dori whale speak part of "Finding Nemo" I wanted it to have a "floaty feel" cuz it's in the water! We first had to create a poster that we were going to base our animation on. Here is my poster

My first website-digital comps round 2

After showing the first round to the class I got some feedback and re-worked my design and here is what I came up with. Hopefully this looks a little more like a salon website then the origional one.

My first website-digital comps round 1

After sketching and trying to figure out what I wanted to basic gist of the site to look like I started playing around in photo shop trying out different looks. Some were ok and some were not so ok...

My first website-sketches

My first website in my Graphic Interface Design class (aka web design) is going to be for a salon called "evolve salon and day spa" I wanted to have a more of a free relaxing feeling than what the site is now.
This is the current site. Not so spa-esque feeling. I want to give it a more free form with a lot of open space and curvilinear shapes. Here are some of my brain dump sketches.
